Nitrile 90 Specifications

NITRILE (BUNA-N) 90 DUROMETER

Rubber Specifications

Welcome to our Nitrile 90 Specifications Section

Here you will find our Nitrile 90 specifications chart which can also be downloaded in PDF. The Nitrile 90 durometer material is a harder rubber compared to the Nitrile 70. If you need properties that are different than the ones listed below, please review all of our other popular materials or we can compound the formulation of the rubber material so that the Nitrile 90A rubber specifications suit your needs. Finding the correct material especially if you are using it for an O-ring seal is important as the seal can degrade quickly if the material is not compatible to your environment.

Mykin Inc’s RN00390 Nitrile (BUNA-N) is a general purpose copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile in shore 90A durometer. Our general Nitrile 90 compound has a relatively high acrylo content, making it exceptionally resistant to petroleum base oils and hydrocarbon fuels over a temperature range of -40°F to +250°F. Nitrile has good mechanical properties when compared with other elastomers and high wear resistance. Nitrile is generally not resistant to weathering, sunlight and ozone unless they are specially compounded.
